IPM 2019 - Rooted in Craftsmanship Together!

The most important trade fair event for the international ornamental plants industry - IPM 2019, which traditionally took place at the Messe Essen exhibition centre in Germany on 22-25 January, has just ended.

As forecasted Messe Essen GmbH - the event's organizers, nearly 1600 exhibitors from 50 countries around the world, including Poland, presented their offer. Not only the number of exhibitors, but also the number of visitors was impressive. More than 41,000 registered guests visited the exhibition during the four days of the fair! Those statistics confirm that this is one of the most important horticultural exhibitions in the world.

This year's edition of the fair focused on the motto 'Rooted in Craftsmanship Together', which Belgium, as the chairman of the exhibition partner country, chose as the leading theme.

Gardening, as a craftsmanship, is a concept consistent with our our company's activity. This idea was also followed by the Vitroflora Team, which, supported by our German partners, represented the company at the stand with more than 10 people. Guests of our stand had the opportunity to get acquainted with our leading offer of perennials and ornamental grasses. Our perennial introductions for 2019/2020 season aroused wide interest!

Under the name 'Vitroflora's Highlights' we presented our top products and novelities. The most popular one seamed to be the new stadard of P-9 pots, known as 'Dream 9-er'. Those plants full of sunny vigour from our Portugal farm, gained a particularly large number of enquiries.

This year at our stand, we hosted breeders of our top varieties - Marco van Noort, a well-known Dutch grower of Echinacea 'Delicious Candy' and Henk Holtmaat, the creator of the intensely flowering Heucherella 'Pink Revolution'.

This year's IPM was also an opportunity to promote novelties - perfect for use in the compositions Ajuga 'Gold Chang', whitch bright green leaves in the sun rays turn gold. Our guests attention focused also on the XXL size Sempervivum BIG Sam and the intriguing with its leaf shape Tanaceum 'Little Frosty'.

Trade fair is a great opportunity to get to know each other better, and the best way is to have a nice conversation with a good coffee and ... some good snack. Vitroflora is well known for its hospitality, which is why our guests were invited to our stand with fresh coffee aroma and freshly baked cinnamon and apple cookies. Guests could also enjoy traditional polish snacks and our famous soup awaited by all!

We would like to thank all guests for visiting our stand. Thank you for all your conversations, words of recognition, and always valuable insights. We hope that thanks to the meetings held, our offer will reach a larger group of cliens, and our presence at IPM,  firmed the high quality and reliability of Vitroflora.

We are already announcing our participation in the next IPM! See you next year - 28-31 January 2020!

Meanwhile, we are waiting for the Vitroflora's Open Days!
We invite all our friends, partners and gardening lovers to Trzęsacz, where on 6-7 July 2019 we will be able to host you, presenting our greenhouse production!
